First challenge
I have found a kit called tinker here's the link
http://www.everydaymomideas.com/2010/07/tinker-free-digital-scrapbooking-kit.html
I would like you to make a name tag from this kit. The size for a name tag is 550 x 300 pixels
You have a week to complete it. This is open to creators as well as the trainees

Re: First challenge
Are we allowed to use fonts or do we have to stick with the alpha?

Re: First challenge
I don't think there is an alpha in it lol
You can use an alpha or a font of your choosing

Re: First challenge
Well doesn't look like anyone else is going to participate in this challenge
Fab attempt Vickie, I like it I only have a few points of cc. I would have used a white stroke on the alpha as it really doesn't stand out too much. On a name tag the most important thing is getting the name to really stand out. Looking at the name it looks like you have put each letter underneath the circle and then erased bits. If you look carefully you will see that the letter Y looks likes it's smudged. This is where the dropshadow has overlapped. The letter E is missing some of the stroke again this is due to the letter being placed under the circle. It is really useful when doing name sigs to keep the letters seperate, or to duplicate the letters you want on top and just lay them ones above. This method will help you with picture sigs too. I use it fairly often xx

Re: First challenge
Thanks hun. I was so frustrated with the drop shadow but have since figured out all I have to do is duplicate it and not do the shadow on the top one. I'm not very bright lol x

Most of what we learn is by trial and error my dear, I only just worked out how to do it a few months ago
